My bad, I guess I got mixed up with another thread. It boils down to this; sound is subjective. What sounds good to you, may not to me. I prefer good sound over loudness.

Im not sure if these worked.. this is my first picture post.. i used flex pipe for a temperary cheap exhaust instead of pipe bending.. boom tubes are more less tips that make it a bit deeper and echo alot more.

yeah. there kind of ricer tips.. but i put them on becuase they look half decent. and it makes it echo and is much deeper sounding then the straight pipes alone..

lol. im thinking about goin to advance auto parts or my local shop, and see if theyll let me just put a magnaflow/dynomax on my truck to see how it sounds, but if its too quiet, im probably just get a glass pack and run it out the side, it actually doesnt sound too bad w/o a muffler, i was on the interstate today, and i was merging, i was in third gear @ 4300 rpms, and it sounded like a quieter cummins. soo

They look like most any other aftermarket exhaust tip posted on this forum to me.

I had a 300 I6 when I turned 16 with headers, an Edelbrock intake, cam and some other tweaked goodies that my dad and I put on it.

I tried probably a half dozen different mufflers (and occasionally open headers ) and it all sounded like a John Deere on steroids.

That thing was a torque monster after all of the tweaking though.
