True Cat Back Duals to INC HP & Torque

Is there a definite HP & Torque increase by going to a true cat back dual exhaust over just replacing the muffler to a single exhaust? Does Magnaflow really outperform Flowmaster in this area? OR is it all primarily for SOUND?

I did it for sound, but I did get some gains. Better throttle response, almost 1.5 MPG better with my Mag.

Magnaflow is non chambered, which allows more free flowing and that = more power, the chambers of Flowmaster is whats known to steal some performance, but for that great sound I dont care for a short loss :thumb:
