I use to have a '99 F250LD w/5.4L and I built my own intake for it using an electrical tube for the intake tube and then I used the replacement cone K&N filter and took of the snorkel end of the cover for the filter. I gained about 1.5mpg doing this and only had about $75.00 in it. This 2004 intake looks very similar, but I'm not sure if I should just do this again, or if it might be better to buy one this time? I'm after better mileage and alittle more power. What do you guys think?
