Yes, do tell. I'm curious how it will work with the Edge, hopefully no lean conditions.

Is the S&B intake as quiet as the stock system? Or can you definitely hear it while accelerating and or driving?

It is very quiet at idle. When driving normally it is barely louder than stock.
When accelerating it has a nice growl, sounds really good!

i see in a full page ad that s&b has in Truckin, it says that it is "Ford Certified to the ISO 5011 Air Filtration Test Standard" my question is are any of the other intakes certified this way or is this s&b really something special? also in the same breathe i'd like to know if the airaid synthflow filter is really better than the k&n.

looks like i'll be joining the s&b intake crowd as well. i had ordered a volant, that the website i ordered from said it would fit my truck '06 4.6L. but alas, no place for the MAF. after a long conversation with the customer service people at carjunky.com, i'll be shipping back the volant and waiting for the refund to be put back on my credit card and will be placing the order for the s&b. looks like a good intake, i'm not too keen on the clear top, i know it has function. i'll bet it will look even better, painted black from the inside.

fx4life, hurry up and put yours on and let us know how it is
