Went with the 12256. Got it from Performance Peddler for about $62 shipped. It was the single in/single out version.

Banks Anyone?

I am also looking at exhaust systems for my 04 Super Crew. I am thinking about getting a Banks Monster Exhaust, SI/DO. Was just wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about this system. I know it looks awesome in pics.

How is that model the 12256 compared to the other maggie's? In terms of loudness is this the middle or quieter or what? IM going to order one this weekend. By any chance do you have a sound clip?

HiVoltage-

Sorry, I can't provide sound clips. From everything I read while researching, my muffler should be somewhere in the "middle" in terms of sound. Consensus is, the smaller the muffler, the louder the sound.

I am new to the performance exhaust area, but I would say that it has little drone at highway speeds. You can carry on a normal conversation, listen to music, etc. and not really notice it. I can hear it because I am listening for it, but others that have ridden with me can't. Let me put it this way...my wife doesn't even know I put the exhaust on--it is that quiet at highway speed (mild rumble or drone).

As for performance gains, I don't know. I know for a while anyway, I won't be getting any better gas mileage--can't keep my foot off the gas. LOVE that sound!

BTW-How many posts do you have to have before you can PM?

Hey which muffler did you actually put on (model#, size), and did you add any larger exhaust piping or tips? How is it for droning? Thanks a lot.
