Horsepower

This question is directed to anyone who has p/p there upper plenum, tb, and possibly even removed runner length in the lower plenum. How much of an increase did you see? I have a 2001 supercrew with a 5.4l 4r70w and 3.55 gears. I have installed headers, catback exhaust, diablo tuner with a dyno tune.
bbk under drive pulleys, pacesetter intake, iridium tipped plugs one heat range cooler. The truck pulls good on bottom but never turns on out. I am fully aware of this engines design. I would like to here from someone who has tried cams, and intake porting, and heads. Not real radical but something more.
To sum it all up i am tired of pulling people taking off to have the come screaming past me at 55-70 mph range.

I have done stage 2 ported heads and cams. Picked up 40 to 45 HP for $1800. and thats not counting the install!
If your looking for more power you wont be happy till you bolt on one of thees.

You can also dump the 3.55s and put shorter gears in there. What tires are you running?

Don't want to get rid of 3.55 gear. I like the low rpm's at interstate speed.
openclasspro#11-This may be true but i believe that shortening them an inch or two will increase mid-range power. has anyone done this?
built54-thats a nice mod list ever run it at the track. also what gear and convertor are you running.

i shortened runners on my 01 ram 360 1.75"-radiused ported and polished them- lost all my bottom mid was same top end much better- but on a 6000lb quad cab 4x4 even with 4-10 gears the bottom sucked- went back to stock manifold in 1 week- my .02$-phil

openclasspro#11-thanks man thats what i wanted to find out. What i was gonna do is find a spare lower plenum shorten it and see what happens. Also if i remember right that dodge intake ain't that bad from the factory. runners not very long from the factory? Had a friend with a dakota r/t he tried one of those mopar intakes and it helped him none at all. do you or anybody else know how long these 5.4 runners are?
