Magnaflow 16612 install
Thanks to all of the tips in the other post I made. I have the exhaust loose and it was really easy but I can't seem to get it out. The instructions say that I may need to cut the exhaust to get it out which I was trying to avoid.
Did any of you need to cut your stock exhaust to get it out?

Hey Zig,
I just installed my Mag 16612 yesterday on my 2004 SuperCrew. You do not need to cut the OEM system to get it out. Do you have your truck up on jack stands ? It may help to give you some clearance...
If you have the OEM system completly loose, then just angle the front end of the OEM system down towards the ground and remove it towards the front of the vehicle by carfully rotating the entire system as you go over top the rear axle. Does that make sense ?
It's heavy and bulky....but it should just rotate right out of there in once piece towards the front of the truck.
Hope that helps.

I did have it up on jackstands but maybe not high enough. I did end up cutting it to get it out and got the Magna flow in with not really any issues. I'll drop some pictures and a sound bit later today ar tomorrow.
I think theres no choice but to have to cut out the stock muffler, yes the hangers are bolted in, but you need to get in there with the sawzall to remove the muffler from the mid way pipe, I'll be putting my sawzall to work by tomorrow or Tuesday hopefully
Great looking Truck(same color and style as mine), but do you have an intake or anything on it?? Looking to get the same exhaust as you but am looking for performance and little sound gain.
Thanks

I did the same system on my 05 screw about 3 weeks ago. My cousin and I changed the exhaust on my truck in the driveway without jacking it up and pulled the stock exhaust out in one piece. My truck sits a little higher with the 325-60-18s though.
