Throttle body spacer

Throttle body spacer

I have throttle body spacer and people are saying get rid of it is that true or what

It won't cause you any problems so you don't have to get rid of it, but they're just kinda useless. Nobody can produce any evidence that they actually do the things they claim to do, i.e. increased fuel economy and power. Some have complained of a whistling sound coming from the TB spacer. If yours isn't doing that then don't worry about it.

They make excellent paper weights. Thats about it. I have one as well, that I had bought years ago, and just never bothered to remove it.

it will hurt your performance by slowing down the intake air volocity, i would get it off as soon as posible, you want the air to be able to move as fast as it can to get in the combustion chamber.

Adding 1 inch of space to your intake tract isn't gonna change a thing.
