cold air intake??? does this add better sound to exhaust??

cold air intake??? does this add better sound to exhaust??

what is a good kind of cold air intake system to buy??? what does this do to performance etc???? i been thinking bout putting one on v6 f-150 that alrede has straight pipes how would this sound???

Yes it does!
It sucks more air into the motor. More than the restrictive stock intake.

I have a brute force cold air intake on my 5.4 i like it and can tell some difference in the sound of the truck

I didn't notice that the exhaust sounded any louder after I added the CAI. I went with the Airaid. Had one on my diesel, my dad had a K&N on his. I always beat him racing, and that was the only difference in ours, so I opted for the Airaid this time also, just MY opinion.

k&n intake is what i got, mpg was the same and more noise comes out the motor you WOT,not the exhaust
