I am thinking about having a magnaflow ss exhaust cat back installed. The problem is the rep told me of an incident where the truck had a drone noise after the magnaflow exhaust was installed. I am new to truck performance but wanted to know is this noise really loud to the point where i cannot talk to someone inside the truck. I appreciate any help on this

 

Get a flowmaster 70 series SUV muffler. It'll give you nice tone at Wide open, and be tame at idle and cruise speeds

 

I have a Gibson exhaust on my 99 EB Expedition. It's a 4x4 with the 5.4 engine. It's not really loud that loud in the cab cruising around town but it has a nice sound outside. I put it on there in early 2000 so I can't remember how much louder it was inside but I remember it wasn't too loud because my wife said she couldn't really tell a difference. When she heard I was putting on an exhaust she envisioned the loundess of my 68 Mustang.
