Flowmaster super 40's on a 5.4

Does anyone have flowmasters super 40 series on thier 5.4 F-150? I am currently looking at a 2000 F-150 Lariat step side 4x4 and was wondering in the super 40's would sound good on it. I want it to be loud but not obnoxiuos or sound like crap.

due to ford slappin 4 cats on these f150s it is hard to get them loud and annoying....i have a 97 with a 40series, still have 4 cats and it sounds great but it is not loud and annoying at all...so if u keep all 4 stock caps and just put a muffler on you should be set...i had the muffler and duel pipes running straight out the back with chrome tips and it cost me about 350...

I dont have super's, I have original 40's. You can expect a fair amount of cab noise/drone w/ the orginal 40's, but well worth it (in my opinion) for the great rumble you get! my setup was about 350, mine is dumped though. Id speculate i could have payed around 400 for takin it out the back and tips.

Good Luck
