Gibson, but dont waist money on shorties, they dont gain any power, save for dynatech long tubes. I gained no hp or torque with shorties, and 30hp and 35ftlbs torque with my long tubes.

yeah they claim 99-03. I have a 98, there is nothing different, they work perfect on my truck, and they would on the 97 too

Thumbs up

The Dynatechs are definately worth it. The sound is very nice and you will feel an improvement in hp and tq. I haven't dynoed it yet but, it's an increase that you can feel!

They may fit the 97-98 5.4, but not the 4.6. The only installation I know of on a 98 4.6 required serious modification. This was posted way back when by Flatsman. He used a pair of 54. Dynatechs on his 4.6.

I've been considering the dynatech longtubes, After a vehicle gets headers it just sounds too different, like a race car, and I hate that, built5.4, how does your longtubes sound, racecarish, or do they give a louder sound to pass through the pipes to sound deeper & meaner?

It sounds deep and mean, I love it. Installation took about 2 hours from start to finish, but ive dont this many times... If you dont like the sound they give you, the power will over come that. the biggest performace increase ever...

ahh i'm tempted to order a set now. Do you have a sound clip of your exhaust available by any chance? I'd love to hear it.

What's the ground clearance like with those long tube headers? I have my truck lowered 3"F & 4"R and was considering shorty headers for their clearance. They must flow better than stock exhaust manifolds....I don't see how they would have zero HP and torque gain...
For the cat back what Flowmaster muffler is everyone running? Their kit 17222 comes with the 50 series SUV muffler which should be a lot quieter than the basic 40 series. (Too quiet??) Same with the Dynomax...which muffler? Their kit comes with their basic baffled muffler I believe, and the Ultra Flo SS looks like the one to run. Anyone else use this muffler?
