Hey Klitch, The long tubes are made for 2x4 and 4x4 even though they dont say they are, they also claim 99' +, but they fit my 98' 4x4...

They are not stainless steel, which will last forever. Ive had bad luck with pacesetters cracking.

where was it cracking out at? i just dont feel the overwhelming need to pay that much for headers, granted they are l/t and would sound sick. i do have a budget to stick to and that seems to push it too much.

also did you mean they are not stainless so they wont last? or as you said?

I think he ment they aren't stainless so won't last forever. I'm not sure if they crack in the same place as they did for the mustangs, but from what I remember reading when I had my mustang pacesetters quality wasn't that great. I want to say that they were saying they cracked around the flange, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, If I may say so myself, I loved the sound. Got alot of compliments up town.

I cant wait to get it re-tuned in late january. And put that sound to use!

I thought they wouldnt fit the 98s due to Ford changing the heads in 99. The went to the PI heads in 99, which I see you did a swap, from your parts list. Someone with a 98 non-pi head, shouldnt work? right? or is there not that much difference????
