Af1

I installed my AF1 the other day that I got from Troyer. Seem to like it so far. Its not noisy hardly at all unless you really get into it, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I got the 3" because of being able to run it on stock programming without leaning out the engine. So far so good.

Ishmial,

The lack of sound is good news. I have been waiting to hear more about the sound level for the AF1 and the quieter it is, the more I am interested.

Thanks for posting,

Is the oil kit needed on a new install? I just put my AF1 on today and I did not use any type of oil. I thought you only have to oil them after a cleaning, but I want to be sure before I put too many miles on it.

Thanks,

Its pre-oiled and according to Craig at AF1 is not re-oiled for 20K miles.

Um, you will want to clean and re-oil way before 20K miles.

The Blue will wear off after about 5K miles then turn gray...watch it and clean it as needed. It all depends on where you live.

No worries, I asked this same question when I had mine...in fact, I think most AF1 owners have prob asked this same question.
