Request for chrome tip

Hey,

I know a lot of you guys have done an aftermarket exhaust on your trucks. My question is that may i please have your old tip from your stock system. It is that chrome bolt over piece. I'll gladly pay shipping.

I'd appreciate the thought

Cheers

It'd probably be cheaper to go to an exhaust shop and have them weld on a tip for ya.

Thanks. No listings in the classifieds. The chrome tip comes on the Chrome edition package.

A tip that size should be like $20 with installation at a muffler shop.

Checked Partsource and Canadian tire. They are all either 2.25 or 3 inch inlets. I guess i'll have to go to a body shop or a muffler shop. I have a good place in mind.

Have you had an exhaust system put in or just wanting the tips? Reason I asked is because when I had my flowmasters on my previous vehicle I'd go in every time they rusted or dulled and slip the guy a $20 and he'd put two brand new ones on. Get a hook-up at a local shop, those guys are glad to do something so easy and get some beer money.

I only wish my local shop didn't close down on me, so I had to install my cat-back myself but they come with bolt on tips that I can always replace with something from ebay or if I want to pay more there are plenty of websites.

Haha wonder why they closed down :P. Just kidding. But yea I'm definetly gonna go and try get a hook up. Looking on Ebay now but shipping sucks. I have the stock exhaust system but with the chrome on my truck the tailpipe looks lame. I want the Magnaflow rear exit...but i'll have to work on my Dad to convince him Warranty won't be voided.

if you don't have any luck locally, try these http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...0A50492A1.aspx FREE SHIPPING!

One negative thing about having them welded is that every time they cut the old ones off they tend to take off more pipe and then you may need longer tips.

haha for sure. Thanks for the link. It's hard to find a tip to fit over 2.5" piping. Obivousy 2.5" inlet won't work lol and the majority of tips are 2.25"
