Uhh...most exhaust systems for our truck are 2.5" in diameter. Any pipe with a 2.5" inlet should be designed to fit on that sized pipe.

How does a 2.5" inlet fit onto a 2.5" pipe....in my head it just lines up perfectly.

Your pipe is 2.5" outside diameter. The tip is 2.5" inside diameter. Plus, the tips are designed to fit on 2.5" tubing...
