what type of exhaust for my truck???

I have a 2005 F-150 STX with a 4.6L V8. I was wondering what type of exhaust would make a low muffled grown when I hit the gas. Like the Hemi Rams do. I want it to be loud an noticible but not sound like crap. Definately not interested in straight pipes. I was looking at the Flowmaster 40 series, super 40 or the 40 series delta flow. ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREAT!!!

You're not going to be able to replicate the sound of the Hemis. Along with the bigger engine and cats, they also have resonating chambers that affect the tone. I have Flows on my truck and I love the tone. Deep throaty rumble at idle, and an attention getting roar when I hit the gas. But it doesn't sound anything like the Dodge Hemis. But of course I'm not usually listening to their exhaust for very long, being in front you know.

How loud is your Flow inside the cab? I have been thinking about an exhaust
on my rig but I don't want real loud inside cab.
Thanks
(I have the 4.6 in my rig)

I have the Flowmaster 40, SIDO, and you hear it when you get on it, but at highway speed, 75 or so, you just hear it very faintly. I love the sound when I crank it up or when I accelerate.

A lot of folks recommend the Magnaflow but with all that I installed a FlowMaster Delta Flow 50 SI/DO. Excellent low runble with only minimal sound inside at highway speeds. Sounds great when you crank and at WOT.

You can definately hear it, that's the point. But there's no drone what so ever. I can have a normal conversation in the truck at any speed. Sorry, I can't define "normal". On the highway, just a nice tone plus the whistle of the blower. My kid gets a kick out of it when I rev it up next to a car and it sets off the alarm.

I have a Borla coming tomorrow. I dont know why a lot of people dont talk about it, maybe because its more expensive?
It seems to be either Slowmaster or MagnaFlow.
