I have an 04 f-150 which I thought was build in 9/04 (don't ask why...) but come to find out it was 9/03. I already ordered a magnaflow 16612. Will this have any chance of fitting or would it be best to go back and get the 15821?

 

Is it a Heritage 04 (97 - 03 bodystyle) or new body style?

 

The new body style. I went and looked underneath following this thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...23&postcount=8 but I just couldn't get a good look, the angle on the new pipe is kind of suck.

If I had to gander a guess, I would say it's most probably the earlier one (before june 2004, well yeah).

 

It sounds like you will probably need the other kit.

 

Yeah, I've been talking to the people there. I'm trying to see if I refuse it if they can just charge me the shipping cost and not the restock fee.

 

I'd better check my build date. How do you know which part to order?
