Just cut my 40 off today and installed a magnaflow sido. Much better sound when cruising and the drone became anoying. Yes I wasted money on the flowmaster but I couldn't deal with it anymore.

I really like the Original 40 Series that I have. It has great sound outside the cab and very little drone at only lower speeds. Great muffler.

There's lots of threads I've seen where people rave about them.

I just put a Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow SI/DO on my SuperCrew. Almost as load as a 40 Series ouside but very quiet inside at cruising speed. At low speeds with the windows down it has a wonderful low rumble

Most folks in this forum seem to prefer the Magnaflow but I love the sound of Flowmaster.

Good luck

Kenny

Put a 40 on my 06 Screw when it had about 300 miles on it, love it. Sounds great and cost about $150 installed.
