2001 f150 supercrew king ranch 5.4L V8

Will after market headers like gibsons GIB-GP206S-C work with my stock exhaust. I need to replace my manifold so I thought I'd just get headers but I'm not ready to do the exhaust yet. Is this doable? if so what do I need to get. Also will I be losing any power cause I'm going to run stock exhaust with after market headers

 

Not sure about Gibsons, but most shortie headers should bolt right up to your factory pipes.

 

good stuff, will I need any extra hardware?

 

Check what comes in the Header makers kit, mine from BBK had gaskets and all the required bolts for the install.
