I went with pace setter long tubes from summit racing. here is a link to the install post. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=239548

I have not had any problems with them yet, they sound real good. My opinion is if you are going to do this, the labor installing these things, I would only go long tubes so that you can get power and torque across the board instead of shorties but that is just my .02.

I'm not sure about the difference between shorties and long tubes, but I have shorties on my '72 Nova SS and love 'em, but shorties are my only option there because of a ground clearance issue with the Novas and Camaros...but do your research and find you something that is in your budget and promises to make you happy...any header is going to be better than the stock manifolds..._motes

The cats are magnaflow high flow cats purchased seperate. I didnt notice a big seat of the pants difference but I did notice a difference especially accelerating onto the freeway and when I tow my boat. I ran a dyno after the exhaust was done and pulled 255 rwhp and 290 rwtq this is with out my CAI and tune(still need to go back to dyno with tune)

I purchased all the magnaflow stuff from my local muffler shop(they beat summits pricing) I believe they were 94139 part# 3" in/ 3" out with one O2 sensor fitting. They will slip right over the collector and that is how I drove it to the muffler shop were they welded the rest of the exhaust up for me. I did not have them weld to the collectors so I bought these band clamps from summit WLK-33272 the are a overlap stainless band type clamp and work great. This way if I ever have to remove the exhaust I can unclamp and take the whole setup off.
