Question paint exposed exhaust pipe?

Has anyone used High-Temp paint to use on the exposed pipe sections of their exhaust?

I was thinking of giving the pipe section behind the muffler a quick coat of black.

Any thoughts?

i've done it on snowmobiles, lasts 2 winters, not sure what a direct beating of salt would do

people paint there headers with it and stuff so I don't see a problem the salt may eat it after a few years but you can always touch it up

I saw someone who coated his exhaust tips with what looked like bedliner material.

I didn't know that Line-X or Rhino would take that kind of heat, but it did look interesting, with a nice matte black finish that might clean up easily...
