need help quick!

i have a flowmaster 50 series and i love it but it's not loud enough. i want to get the 40 series but i am worried about the drone. i have a 01 supercrew 5.4. do any of yal have problems with drone with a 40. i no there will be some but i don't want it were i can't talk to my buddy riding shotgun. i am going today to get it done. because the shop is 30 miles one way and i have other things to do over there and don't want to waste gas again. thanks for the quick help.

There will be more drone than the 50 series, but not enough that you can't talk to someone in the cab with you with your windows up or down. As long as you don't have high-flow cats or anything like that, you should be ok.

I had an "original" Flowmaster 40 series si/do (not the quieter delta-flow) before I got my Magnaflow, and it wasn't that loud. You mainly hear it on take off, and it's not that bad. And while you're cruising it will quieten down.

There is just enough drone to let you know it is there. Not loud at all.

if you havent put the 40s on already try dynomax's magnum race bullet mufflers. they are a tiny bit quieter than the original 40s but louder than the delta flows. youll also benefit from much better flow and performance than flowmaster
