Flowmaste 40's

i would kind of like to have a single exit out of my mufflers, i mean only one tip out the end of my truck, but i have 2 flowmasters and don't even know where to start, how to make the best sound. I would like the dual out rear but i like the single better.
I need advice from the begging of the setup to the end of the setup. Just really want the best sound out of my mufflers. To me they can't be too loud.
Thanks

If you've already got 2 Flow's on your truck, I wouldn't even consider making the exhaust a single outlet b/c you're not even gonna get close to the same "mean" sound.

Since you said that you didn't mind how loud they are and you're looking for the best sound, I would "dump" the exhaust behind the muffler.

To do this, just cut the tailpipe off behind the muffler and either bend your own turndowns, or you can buy them from flowmaster or a couple of other companies.

By using the turndowns behind the mufflers, you're gonna get the loudest, meanest, deepest sound possible out of those flowmasters and you'll get a real clean look out of what you've already got.

Good luck!

Check my gallery, I have dumped exhaust. It might help you decide if you would like that or not.
