While my truck's in pieces for paint I'm having dynamat extreme put on all the doors.......I would like to put on some exhaust but I really don't want much sound if hardly any in the cab......If i go with a quieter exhaust like the gibson do you guys think near stock sound levels will be mantained? I may even have the floor done but I'm not sure yet, only if i go with custom interior.......

What's your guys experience?!?!

 

if u want to eliminate as much road and exhaust noise as possible doing just the doors wont do much. id dynamat the entire cab. dynamat also acts as a heat/cold barrier

 

do the whole thing while its apart. doors... floor... roof. back... doing only just the doors isn't gonna do much

 

My Gibson SI/SO is barely louder than stock. It sounds better than stock, it's just no very loud.



This chart is right off the Gibson site. As you can see, Ford's are the quietest trucks out there.
