What should I do?

I'm looking to get an exhaust system put on my 5.4 4x4 99 f-150 next week but i dont know which exhaust to choose. I have very little experience with exhaust so I don't know much about them. What do you guys think would sound the best?

it u want the rumble....flowmaster 40 series....if you want more "tone" which actually sounds morelike a purr, go magnaflow.....but those are probably the 2 most popular mufflers out right now

There are about 4 other threads that should answer your questions. I just added a Flowmaster 40 series to my 05 super crew and am very pleased. I did all my homework on here before making my decision...

flowmaster original 40's or the flowmaster 50 series suv/performance would sound awsome. i just put on the 50's on my truck 2 months ago and i love them. its not real loud at idle but when you hit the gas it gets pretty loud. hope this helps.

I have original 40s on my 5.4 and they are pretty loud and give it a nice rumble. Magnaflow is more of a smoother sounding exhaust while flowmaster gives it more of a rumble
