What Tips are u guys running ??

Hey ,

New 2006 F-150 Supercrew owner, in the market for an exhaust tip for the new ride. I plan on doing a full exhast down the road, but for now I just wanna do some nice/classy looking tip on the stock exhaust to help the overall appearance of the truck.

Let me know what you guys are running, and posting of pics is always a help. I am leaning towards something with a rolled edge, as I think they look alittle more "high end" than just a flat cut piece..

As usuall, ALL help is appreciated...

Used to have tips, but they got dirty and I didn't like the look of them. IMO, no exhaust tip showing looks more clean.

Magnaflow 4"x18" rolled lip slash cut. I used a cut off wheel to cut the inlet to fit onto a 3" pipe.

JC, are you sure?
Looks like 2.5 when I measure across the opening at the tip.

As far as length....at 12" there is a sharp bend, so I assume I need a tip shorter than that??

What would fit best on a stock 98 exhaust?????

If it's really 2.25....is this what I want??
