You're never going to sound like a 69 chevelle. But the 40 series will get you as close as you can get!

I have the IMCO elite series which is supposed to be their equivalent to the flowmaster 50 series. I am very satisfied with this setup and it is louder than a flowmaster 50 series and has very little drone. Very nice rumble when idling and deep roar on acceleration. I can't imagine the loudness of the extreme series, but I have heard they are loud.

I was putzing around on the net today for a couple hours listening to clips of exhaust notes, (ahhhhhh, music to my ears). I listened to them all, Edelbrock, Flowmaster, Gibson, Magnaflow, Corsa, IMCO the list goes on. I havent really heard any of these (other than the flowmaster) in person, but online the best sounding systems were IMCO and Corsa, IMO. I like the way flowmasters sound as Ive heard them in person, But Flows are like tampons, every p*$$y needs em'. (Sorry dont mean to offend anyone, just stating they are really common).
Anyways thats my two cents

THey are really common because they are the company that started the exhuast revolution. They make the best sound and are the most desired. Thats why everyone has them! How many times in casual conversation do you say, hey man what kinda muffler is that?

My bassani true duals are no quieter than my flowmaster was....oh and they sound so much better! Bassani is not quiet and fyi bassani now makes universal mufflers like magnaflow and all the other brands listed. Go bassani you wont be dissapointed. Click i agree at the bottom to hear my truck.
