Cool Is anyone running a Borla system

Fellas,

I have heard alot about magnaflow and flowmaster is anyone running a borla set up? and how does it compare to the other exhaust systems. I am looking for a SI/DO, for my 2006 XLT screw 6.5 bed. 5.4, I am looking for a good deep sound with as little drone sound as possible. I would appreciate some advice and guidance.

I have the Borla cat back on my truck. I love it! It has a nice deep and powerful sound to it. its not loud and overpowering like other exhaust. You will pay a little more for the Borla but its well worth it. Sweet sound, easy to install and it has a million mile warranty. Good luck!

I just installed the Borla SI/DO catback on my 06' F-150. I like it a lot, and it does not drone inside the cab. It is not loud by any means, but it has a great tone to it. I have had Borla systems on other vehicles, and that is why I got it for my truck. I had access to a lift, and I think it took roughly 30 minutes to pull off the old exhaust and bolt this one on. I am happy with the sound and the quality of the system. I don't have anyway to record the sound, or I would post it on here.

These motors sound different than the chevrolet motors. I had a flowmaster on my 2500 HD Chevrolet with the 6.0 and it droned in the cab pretty bad. I like the way flowmaster and magnaflow sound, but I am keeping this truck pretty mellow.

I just ordered my Borla today for my 05 SC Lariat. SI/DO. $880 installed.
I missed out on a deal I saw on E-Bay, the system was $480, at the time I wasn't sure if I was going with the SO or the SI/DO. Now I am paying a bit more. Dammit.... Still well worth it! I cant wait to get it..

I'm thinking about just replacing my stock muffler with the Borla Turbo (their generic muffler) instead of the whole system. Has anyone done this? What kind of results can I expect? I'm really just looking to get a little better sound than factory.
