If you only want performance, go with the SISO.

I have this maggie (16616) http://www.hottexhaust.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=16616

It is the lightning style sido, and I did not lose any low end torque It sounds awesome especially at WOT

I had a fartmaster on my last truck and this maggie sounds as good to me with out losing power

These are the two I cant decide on I like both but dont know if I want the dual out the back or with the single side exit. With the coupon code (fordtruck8) there is $20 different with the two.

FYI - I couldn't be happier with my SIDO (rear exit) MagnaFlow cat-back system!

Did you buy the 16614 cat-back and if so, do you have a trailer hitch and did you have to bend the pipe in any way to make it work.
Just looked at your photos and it does look good..

Thumbs up I went with DISO

Another option to consider...I got a dual-in (2.5") single out (3") Magnaflow muffler installed at a local exhaust shop. They cut off the Y pipe just after the cats. They custom fit 2 2.5" tubes back to the muffler, then a custom 3" over the axle & out behind the passenger wheel. I considered doing DIDO however decided a SO was probably better. It cost me the same as the DIY kit cat-back systems and I didn't have to do any work! I didn't have a tip installed though.

The muffler I used is Magnaflow 12388 (http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=473) - this is what the shop I went to recommended. It's not a real loud muffler but it is certainly noticable. There is some drone at 75mph. Typically when you are just maintaining speed there isn't much noise in the cab. If you are going up a hill then you hear about it though...

I've taken it on one trip that was 185 miles pulling my jetski. 20-30 miles was at 75mph, 50 miles was 65 mph and the rest was about 70 mph. Normally I'd get about 14 maybe 15mpg on that trip. I managed to get 16.5 with the new exhaust! I'm going on another trip this weekend, hopefully that will confirm my improved mileage findings. BTW - This is on my '01 5.4 4x4 Expedition.

As far as power - The engine seems to rev up much easier now, especially past 2,000 RPM. I've noticed I can go up some hills now without kicking out of overdrive like I use to going down the highway. I have 3.55LS gears & stock 17" tires, 4r100 tranny. I don't think I lost any low-end torque, infact I believe I've gained some. I think climbing hills without dropping out of OD as much confirms this(vs wow, that's a neat rumble, I must be taking off faster now because it sounds cool )

My personal opinion...I love it so far!
