My neighbor has a Dodge Ram Hemi with dual Vortex Cherry Bombs. His truck shakes the windows in my house when he starts it. Vortex is now the parent company of the original Cherry Bomb's which are the loud as hell mufflers I remember when I was in HS. If straight up loud is what you want, I think these things are as about as loud as it gets while still being street legal.

KC-10 FE out...

Vortex

I had one about 5 years ago on my Dodge with the 5.9. They are very loud and sound good. Unlike Flowmaster and most other aftermarket mufflers that have baffles and such in side them. The Vortex is a straight through design meaning if you hold it up you can see through it. Seemed to be high quality. However ever since I have just gone back to Flowmaster because I have not found many people who sell them recently and I just have a personal preference for Flowmaster but you can't go wrong with a Vortex if you want loud.

Someone else would have to give you that opinion. This was my first truck with dual exhaust over 5 years ago I just remember they did sound good.....they were also on the old dodge 5.9 with 2 cats.

Yeah the original Cherry Bomb's were like glasspacks as far as volume in fact when I was growing up all the guys with trucks used glasspacks and cars used cherry bombs.......then we discovered Flowmaster lol. If I am not mistaken the Vortex is an updated version but it will be loud for sure my GUESS is that it would louder just because of the design now I don't know how GOOD it will sound there is a difference.

You don't have to a teenager to want that I am a business man father of 2 and my exhaust will never be loud enough.

40 series Flowmaster SI/DO. I am going to upgrade the tips for a little more volume. My truck is not just crazy loud but it is loud and SOUNDS GOOD which is what I like.
