My exhaust plans

Well since I already have the mufflers and tips from my mustangs exhaust I figured I'd find someway to use them on my new truck. Well after some seaching this is what I think I'm going to go withhttp://www.lmperformance.com/7101/52.html
Me and a friend are going to make the Y-pipe you see in the pic and also the 2 tail pipes. This saves me about $500 from going and having to get another kit. Plus I think it really looks sweet. Just like the Lighting trucks.

What kind of mufflers are they? What year mustang are they from? Im thinking about taking out my 18" MAC muffler and putting in a mustang center in/center out 12" MAC muffler and getting a y-adapter like in the pic to put on the outlet side to kep it having dual tips it that makes sense. I want a smaller/louder muffler. I dont know why MAC put a 18" meffler on this catback, when they put 12" mufflers on all their other catbacks for mustangs.

I should have put in my first post that they are not mufflers, they are resonators. Pretty much all they are is a 4" tube with an inet and outlet. There is no baffling of packing whats so ever. Its a hollow tube.
