Duel exhaust on s'crew

I currently have an Imco DI/DO muffler with 2.5" pipes ending with 3" magna flow polished tips. I was thinking of using two SI/SO mufflers with a magna flow X-pipe. Would this give me a boost in performance over what I currently have?

He is running a pipe size of 2 1/4 inch in dia. magnaflow mufflers the size of the mufflers is 4x9x14 and he said for best results put the X pipe were your Old Y pipe use to be. I think I got that right phil?
