Deeeeeeeeeep exhaust

iI have a gibson bolt-on cat back system but i am not 100 percent satisfied because of the lack of what i like to call "low rumble", that deep exhaust i hhear that other fords have. i have a 97 expedition and i am asking people what bolt on on cat back system they have and how does it sound. Please i am looking for deep and low rumble.

I hade a gibson too, it was way too quiet. I had the Dual Sport cat-back system. I swapped out the Gibson muffler for a one chamber IMCO Extreme muffler. I was able to re-use my stainless steel Gibson tailpipes. My truck now has a great sound and rumble. Gibson is just way too quiet for my tastes.

From what I've heard, Walker Dynomax mufflers have a fairly good rumble to them. Last vehicle I heard it on was one of those Dodge Magnum SW's. It was shaking my doors at the stop light. I had a Dynomax muffler on my 1990 Dodge Daytona autocrossing car & I loved it.

I have the Gibson SI/SO on my 5.4 Lariat & it's exactly what I wanted. It's got a nice mellow rumble at idle and lets you know you've got a big V8 under the hood when you stomp on it.

If you're really interested in making it louder & deeper, put an AF1 on it and it will REALLY let you know you got a V8, not a Singer sewing machine.

KC-10 FE out...
