hey yal, i just registered and love the site. my dad gave me his 01 supercrew lariat with a 5.4. it's all black with grey interior. i was wanting to put an exhaust system on it and i was really looking into magnaflow or the flowmaster delta flow 40 series. any help will be appreciated to what system would be best. i don't want it real loud but i want people to know i'm coming and as little drone as possible in the cab. thanks for the help.

 

Hey check out mine. I just got it yesterday and I really love it. Isnt blaring loud but idles with a nice rumble and you can hear that its a truck. It isnt bad at all in the cab drove for 4 hours in it today and thats in town and about 2 of it on the highway at about 75 80 mph.
Flowmaster 40 is what I have and look at my pics to see how it looks and how its routed.

Paxzon, I'm going to be doing the same pipes as you. How long are your tips? Do you know which degree angle they are cut at? and they are 2.5 diam, right?

I have orginal 40 flowmaster on mine with 3.5 x 18" slash cut tips bent at 45 degree angle! I LOVE IT!!! has drone inside and you can hear it outside in other cars!

good choice, i think you will be very happy, IMO you cant go wrong with flowmaster
