cat back decisions

I need some feedback on which exhaust to run on my 2002 5.4 f-150. Looking at doing a cat back s/i d/o with tips, but which muffler will be better, flowmaster or magnaflow? Cash is a bigger factor than performance here. I want loud, but don't need the neighbors beating down the door! I had a single magnaflow put on a 91 f-150 5.0 , and it sucked bad. Waste of cash.

many people argue over flowmaster and magnaflow. i have had my flowmaster on my truck for a few days... it's a 4.2 and i liek it so far. a guy i used to work for had duals from the cat back w/o mufflers not true duals and it sounded really good

Just dump the 4 cats for 2 hi-flows, make it sound alot better with whatever muffler you go with and shouldn't cause any CELs.

Whats a CEL? I'm assuming its emissions levels? If so, taking off stock and replacing with hi flow cats, I gotta think about our semi-annual emissions tests.
