I am getting my exhaust redone tomorrow. True Duals no cats, with an x-pipe and I don't know which mufflers. I like it loud so I was thinking Flowmaster 40's but I am just wonering if that will be too loud since I don't have any cats. So should I get the 14" Magnaflow. I just don't know if the magnaflow will be loud enough. Anyone have their cats off with Flows or Magnaflows??? If so tell how it sounds. Thanks.......

 

I say no muffler! hahaha or a flowmaster orginal 40! Like what I have! DONT GET A MUFFLER GO TRULY STRAIGHT PIPES!

 

Magnaflow from what I have read is not very loud but is nice and noticeable Specially when you floor it. Flowmasters I read will be loud but some have complained of losing some low end torque.

 

Having a flowmaster orginal 40 si/do.. you do lose low end torque..

 

magnaflow has a nice mellow rumble to it but sounds truly wicked at WOT

 

Flowmaster, gotta love that sound! Seriously though, flowmaster practically reinvented the aftermarket exhaust with its 5.0 american thunder kits. Its a great addition and sounds mean!
