hey I find out today when I was ready to order my exhaust for my truck that Magnaflow makes no kit that will work with my truck!!! WTF!!!!

2003 F-150 5.4L --- reg cab, long box.....

Whats with this ???? U would think that they would have a kit!!! This is plain gay!

I think thats the kit that only works with short bed trucks....

can anyone help clear this up???

 

Reg Cab long box same wheelbase as the Supercab short bed and Supercrew. It will fit. You may have to add some pipe before the muffler, but I bet it bolts right up. I'd give Mike Troyer a call to confirm, though.

A lot of other systems that fit a Reg cab long bed fit a ext cab short bed. According to some of the sites that just looked at magnaflowed doesn't make a system for your truck which is odd. The hangers might be in different locations I don't know. Same wheelbase and all will make sense that the same kit as a ext cab short bed truck will fit yours. Are you sure you want to go with Magnaflow or willing to look at a different brand?

 

I'm willing to look into other kits now becasue of this Magnaflow prob..

 

I'm not sure if Borla makes a kit for your truck. I looked quickly and came up with no results. I also looked at this website and listed are some other kits but not too familiar with their sound and quality besides the gibson SISO which is quiet!

Hey man, try Bassani. They don't make one for mine, reg. cab flareside, but I'm sure they have the long box. I wished they did for me, because I've heard them on lightnings and they sound sweet.
