Flowmaster 40 Series DF vs. Flowmaster 40 Series

I have a Flowmaster 40 Series DF on my 1994 F150 5.8L and I was wondering if the original 40 series would be dramatically louder outside?

Dramatically, probably not. Somewhat, yes it would. IIf you really want super loud, get a flow 1 chamber Deltaflow was designed to reduce interior noise more than anything else

Would a Flowmaster 1 chamber muffler be legal in Texas? Would it still work/perform with the 2 stock catalyc converters? And would I gain or loose horsepower?
