As of right now I have a single in dual out cat back exhuast with 2.5in pipes and 4in tips, the muffler is called Xlerator. It sounds ok and was built for performance but I want something a little louder. Something that when I rev it up or jump on the throttle, it will roar. BUT, what I dont want is something that is obnoxious, like the resonace at highway speeds.



Ive done my research on the forum and some of you guys say the flowmaster 40 series is great, but others say it has a dull highway sound, that is anoying. So I want to know what you guys think, is it dull or not. And would going to a 50 series be any better or worse?I know this has been beat to death but I want to get some more inputs

So what muffler should I get?
