I absolutly love the sound of my new extreme IMCO 2 chamber. I smile everytime I get in the truck. I have already had people think my truck was a 5.4L when really it's only a 4.6L.

I think the extreme is a 1 chamber, but imco also makes a 2 chamber muffler. The 1 chamber extreme is supposedly quite loud. Do a search for member fourpointsix and he has several posts on this muffler, as he has had one and describes it in great detail.

I just recently got a true dual exhaust with imco mufflers on my 5.4. I love it! It sound great when you get your foot in it. But if you want it to stay fairly quiet you can do so. I like it too because its not loud going down the road at cruise speed on long trips. Good, deep tone. I have been told that it provides a deeper tone than a flowmaster.

I had the Pro series SI/DO (7470) installed this afternoon. As soon as it started up, I began to grin and haven't stopped! To me, it sounds better than my Uncle's Flowmaster setup! I'll order my Edge programmer By Friday

Flowmaster and IMCO have identical muffler setups. They are the exact same thing, except IMCO mufflers are stainless and flowmaster are not.

What I meant was you have the option to get stainless in an IMCO, not with the flowmaster.
