where can you get amuffler to replace stock and use all the stock pipe?I would like the one that does not lose low end and hopefully would help and not hurt gas and power.

you could get any muffler you want to do this, you just have to buy it to match your stock pipe, and weld it in place, if it is shorter than the factory muffler you just weld in a piece of straight pipe to make up the diffrence, a muffler shop will do it for you for cheap, i recomend flowmaster, unlike what others have said there is no loss of low end i have gained threwout the RPM range, i have used flowmaster on over 10 vehicles and never had any loss, good luck on whatever you decide

Magnaflow makes a great muffler either SS or coated aluminum. Just find out your stock pipe size and get a muffler to match. Looks like the kit for your truck came with a 5"x8"x24" muffler. Just remember magnaflow makes 3 sizes 14", 18", and 24". The smaller the size the louder the sound. I just had my catback with the 18" installed today, and I can't keep my foot from the floor the sound is just awesome.

I just did what your asking about last week. I went to a muffler shop and had them weld in a 14" single in/out magnaflow. Didn't lose or gain any power from what I can tell. Sounds nice, but a little to quiet for me. I like to hear it in the cab a little. Right now from inside its about the same as stock unless I am accelerating at a decent pace. When I start it cold it sounds great.. I wish it would stay that loud.
