Just installed Magnaflow SISO... Awesome!

Just installed my Magnaflow SISO, # 16612, and it is exactly what I was looking for. It has a quiet, yet deep rumble at idle, but when you get on it, you'd think you were in a NASCAR. It sounds AWESOME! I wanted something that wasn't quite as loud as the Duals.

I used this thread for reference --> http://f150online.net/forums/showthr...=16614+install . Thanks to 05SilverFX4 for that guide. It was right on the money and had some helpful tips that the lame instructions didn't touch on.

Install was very easy and was done in a couple of hours. The worst part was when I had to cut about an inch off of the 18" intermediate pipe to get it all to fit, but that was an easy five minute detour.

I highly recommend the Magnaflows... get it at hottexhaust.com and use the coupon code ("fordtruck8", I think) and you'll get a deal that no one else can beat. Fast shipping and good customer service. Got it for $377 shipped, rather than almost $500 anywhere else.

Peace...

Thought I was going crazy..double post...anyway.

That's weird. Same kit, same place, same price, same link, same truck. No cutting or trimming of pipe...how come?

Congrats on the upgrade, I think you chose the right setup as well. I get a lot of compliments on my Magnaflow catback. Almost went with Bassani, but they have some fitment issues with the traction bars I was planning to install.

If you think they sound good now, wait until they break in after 2-3 K miles. They'll get a bit louder and clearer -- you'll see what I mean. Never obnoxious, but even more throatier. Even after nearly 2 years, I find myself turning off the radio / cd and just listening to those sweet exhaust harmonics!

Congrats again, and good choice.
