I have the 4.6 V8, and I already have Flowmasters, the 40 series I believe. But i would like them to be a little bit louder. Would cutting off the pipes right after the muffle, so they "dump". Would that make it louder at all? I need to replace my tips and thought this way i can get them off and get a little bit louder at the same time. thanks for you help!

 

it should add to the volume, but it will also increase cabine drone significantly

 

Yes it would make it louder and increase the drone.


Also if you dump it too short you may get a little sleepy.....
