Keep an eye on this thread, don't know if I'll get any more responses or not though....

What do you think about like Summit headers. Theyre like 150 bucks. Are they any good?

there are not much gains to be had in the shorty headers, are stock manifolds flow very well, just FYI

I would figure as much, shorties aren't worth much on n/a Mustangs either (similar casting), but for $145 if the Summit headers fit they've got to be worth ~5-10 ft-lbs somewhere along the curve. I sure as hell wouldn't spend $300-400 on shorties though. Personally I probably wouldn't even do the Summit headers except that my engine is out right now and I can drop it in with them on, no swap hassles...

Blackford, what do you know about the Pace Setters? I'm looking at them also but heard that most headers warp due to them being thinner. Do you have them and are they coated or not?

Summit headers are actually "Pacesetter Headers." I ordered a set; however, I returned them because I wanted to go with a stainless steel header.

Since I reside in Cali, I have to have the smog legal headers. BBK has a decent set that is very affordable; however, they are not smog legal.
