just ordered my magnaflow

I just ordered my magnaflow kit (16616)from troyer. Some of you guys have recommended to take it to one of the local shops and have it installed / welded. I have called several, Is $150.00 to $200.00 reasonable, or should i shop around some more?

can not wait.

shop around some more. I got the same exact kit installed for $50 and they even welded it together instead of just bolting it up.

If it is just a cat back kit...then do it yourself. Won't take maybe an hour even if your inexperienced. Just make sure you have the proper tools. If it requires welding....then take it to a shop. They shouldn't charge more than 75 or so to put it on. I had two magnaflow mufflers welded on my former mustang gt and they only charged me 200 for everything.

I thought about doing it myself. Everyone says the toughest part is getting the stock one off. I have impact tools and have access to other pneumatics. I do not have a welder though, and everyone says to get it welded. I guess I could put it on and take it to someone to have it spotted. How much of a Bi@#* is the stocker to loosen and get out?

That should look sharp on the truck when you get it installed.
