Wow....true duals are LOUD!
Wow....true duals are LOUD!
Who says Chevys and Dodges are louder? HA!
Had my old catback w/ no muffler replaced today with 2" true duals from the back of the factory converters routed out under the back bumper with new 3.5" x 18" tips. Wow, what a difference. Much throatier/deeper sound, not as smooth as a catback, and more snap under hard accell. When the motor is cold and you give it 1/2 throttle, sounds like a mean crackly glasspack sound until the motor warms up more. You can definetely hear it in the cab, but it's not overpowering, but on the outside, its really loud. I think I might be purchasing some Magnaflow quiet mufflers soon.
Total Cost : $175 (labor, pipes, tips, no mufflers)
If you want sound, this is THE way to go! If you want more sound, hi flo or no converters will open these 4.6's / 5.4's up BIG time!
