Dual vs Single exhaust

Replacing exhaust on
98 F-150
4.6 L
4wd
standard cab
short bed

Any recommendations on whether I should stay with single pipe or go with dual.

Thanks

single 3" will give you more power down low, and a duel 2.5" will give you more power up high on the rpm scale, in my opinion how often do you run wide open? these heave trucks need more down low RPM power i would go with a single 3", good luck

Or compromise. I got rid of the factory Y-pipe and went dual 2 1/2" pipes into a Flowmaster 50 Series SUV muffler with a single 3" tailipipe. Very happy with the results.
