I am most likely going to get the IMCO extreme pretty soon. What does SI/DO stand for? (I been hearing it alot but never knew). Also does anyone think that $100 is a good price to cut out my old muffler and install the IMCO, so I get the muffler and the installation for $100.

yeah that sounds like a good price. SI/DO = Single in/Dual out.

my open K&N airbox
Where did you get yours? Mine never came with one and I was thinking of how to fab something up to keep the heat of the engine away from the filter. In the winter sometimes when I stop a sound comes out of the intake that sounds like the hum of a big fan and the rpm's go up to 1200. All I know is that it didn't do that till I put the K&N kit on there. Has anyone expierenced this before?
