Problem with exhaust

Has anyone run into this issue? About 3 weeks ago i replaced my flowmaster 50 series muffler with a flowmaster 40 series muffler. The other day when i had to pass a tractor trailor a thick cloud of white smoke came out from my exhaust, when i brought it up to the shop that i go to, the mechanic gunned it and the smoke came out again, only this time, smoke consistently was coming out. He told me i had no water in my oil, and i had no oil in my water, he advised me that it could be bad gas, and to completely empty my gas tank and then put new gas into it, then put some fuel treatment into it. If anyone has had this problem before please help me out with some advice, thanks.

White smoke is not an exhaust issue. that would be a combustion issue.

How is your coolant level? is it getting low?

Another thought would be a vacum hose to the trans (automatic) that may be drawing Mercon V into the motor. Really white thick smoke...like a smoke bomb. Check you trans fluid.

Just a few thoughts.

Good luck.
